A little history of the 321 squadron.
The aircraft is the 251 with construction number 56 and was in use
with 321 sqdrn from 07/16/69 until  12/28/84 and returned to the French Navy.
Escadrille de Reception et de Convoyage de la Marine Francaise.

The 321th squadron was established in active service in England 1940.

In 1942 transfered to Ceylon and here the sqdrn flew with Catalina's.
After the war the sqdrn was again transfered to New Guinea, the big 
island above Australia.

Here they flew  from 1955 till 1960 with the Martin PBM-5A Mariner.
After 6 fatal crashes they stopt with the Mariner and flew 2 year with C-47 
Dakota's.

Then the P2V7 Neptune came to the Netherlands East Indies (New Guinea).
In1962 they flew back to Holland and were transfered to 320 sqdrn.

And then in 1969 the Atlantic was welcomed on Valkenburg and to 321 sqdrn 
wich was established again.
The Atlantic flew with this squadron till 1982 and then it was the end for 
the Atlantic in Holland and the Lockheed Orion entered duty. Until today the 320 and the 321 sqdrn fly with the Orion.
